Slanting
Style (Moribana)
Today I would like to talk about the Slanting style. I do hope you remember the difference between Moribana and Nageire, if not you can check the previous posts. The Slanting style is also known as a reversed style.
Key things to remember in The Slanting style :
- The style is very dependent on the placement and branches of flowers used in the display.
- It is recommended to pick soft and slender branches because when arranged it gives off a softer impression.

Slanting
Style (Nageire)
The Slanting style is a bit easier and beginner friendly. The Slanting style in Nageire gives the flowers that gentle yet flexible look. Just remember you need to use a straight vase or a bamboo container. The arrangement can be simple but it is a good start nonetheless.

The most commonly used container for nageire is the cylindrical vase, a tall container with a mouth that is not very wide and sides that are nearly vertical.
